Five days, a dozen workshops, seventy-five kids, , and one Bear Lake Monster seemed to be just the right combination for a terrific summer musical theatre experience. Eager participants learned vocal styles, stage make-up, audition techniques, choreography, acting, and more. The week culminated in a performance for a capacity crowd of parents and friends. "I can't believe what you've accomplshed with these kids in only one week!"
"We already need more space!" says Jay Richards, MTW's founding director. "Parents are asking about next year and more workshops during the summer." Though the workshop is not a money-maker, Richards definltely feels that it is worthwhile. "We are investing in our own future by nurturing young talent. It only makes sense." MTW music director, Debbie Ditton recommends early registration next year.
